Preschool Sunday School Idea

Bible Words: Love the Lord your God with all your heart.

Matthew 22:37

Bible Fun Your child can pretend to be a teacher telling about God at Sunday school just as Moses told about God.

You can help by providing a few props: a small table, a child's Bible, and some Sunday school lesson cards. The congregation might be a few dolls. You and your child can take turns being the teacher and leading everyone in telling a Bible story.

Sunday Surprise

Lesson Focus: We can listen to God's Word.

Sherri and Shawna liked to go to Sunday school, They liked to color pictures about the Bible story and sing "Jesus Loves Me." But most of all, they liked to sit at the story circle and hear the story from the Bible.

One Sunday, Mrs. Lee told Sherri that the class was going outside for a while.

Sherri looked sad. (Look sad.) "No Bible story today?" she asked.

"Of course we'll hear the story," said Mrs. Lee. "We don't have to be inside to hear God's Word. Today we'll take the Bible, blanket, and crackers outside for a picnic. And we'll hear the story outside." Sherri smiled, (Smile) And when it was time to go outside for the Bible story, Sherri carried the Bible outside all by herself. Family Fun Take along a pocket Bible on your next outing, Even if it is just a trip to the backyard, you can read a Hite of God's Word in the world that He created.
