People brought their children to see Jesus. His followers tried to send the children away. But Jesus told them to let the children come to Him. He told his followers to love God like the little children do.
Do you think Jesus loves children?

Bible Words: Jesus went around doing good
Acts 10:38
Bible Fun Put some perfume on your child. You may also draw or paste pictures of perfume bottles on paper. Using spray cologne or cotton with perfume on it, dab or spray the pictures.
Remind your child that a woman who had done wrong gave Jesus her perfume. She did it to show she was sorry. Jesus forgave the woman, just as He forgives us when we pray and ask for forgiveness. This was one of the many good things Jesus did. Say the Bible Words above several times with your child.
It’s Nice to Have Friends
Lesson Focus: Jesus cares when we're sick.
Brenda had a cold. Her nose was red and sniffly. But worst of all, Brenda couldn't go to Mrs. Ferguson's house.
Mother said, "I called Mrs. Ferguson. She said she hopes you'll get better soon. She will have the children pray for you."
Brenda smiled, but she still felt a lithe lonely—especially when she thought of the banana muffins Mrs. Ferguson was baking that day.
Later, the doorbell woke Brenda.
Mr. Ferguson stood on the steps with get-well cards from Sherri, Shawna, and Michael. He also had a basket of banana muffins! Brenda said to her mother, "It's nice to have good friends—especially when you're sick!"
Family Fun Have your child color a picture. Fold the picture and put it inside a get-well card. Mail or take the card to a sick or shut-in friend. Pray with your child during the week for this sick friend.
