God wanted the Israelites to capture the city of Jericho. Now, Jericho had big, tall walls around it. So, God had the people march around the city once a day for six days. On the seventh day, He had them go around seven times.
Then He had them blow their horns and shout. And the walls of Jericho fell down. The Israelites captured the city because they obeyed God.

Remind your child that a woman who had done wrong gave Jesus her perfume. She did it to show she was sorry. Jesus forgave the woman, just as He forgives us when we pray and ask for forgiveness. This was one of the many good things Jesus did. Say the Bible Words above several times with your child.
At the Baby-Sitter’s House

Mrs. Ferguson had a rule in her house that said “ Everyone must reast after lunch.”
But one day after Michael and Shawna were asleep, Sherri got up to make valentines.
Finally Michael and Shawna came in to make their valentines.
But Sherri wasn’t kind or happy. She was too tired. She just cried and rubbed her eyes.
Mirs. Ferguson picked Sherri up and said down in the rocking chair.
“Jesus wants you tobe kind and happy, Sherri. We have the resting rule so you can feel cheerful. It’s no fun to be tired,” Mrs. Ferguson said.
Sheerri decided ethe resting rule was a good one after all. Then she fell asleep.
