One day, the disciples came to Jesus with a question. "Who will be greatest in God's kingdom?"
Jesus called a child over and said, "This is the truth: unless you become like a little child, you will never enter God's kingdom. Only those who understand how small they are compared to God's greatness will be important in God's kingdom."
We are All Important to God
Self- importance us a dangerous condition. Often, when we wnt to be the biggest or the best, we really show that we're afraid of being forgotten. We don't want people to ignore us, so we try to be ahead of others. We need to be more concerned bout what God thinks of us instead of our peers.
Because God cares for us all of his children - including the poor, the weak, and the ignorant - we must care for them also. Our natural desire is to associate with important people, and ignore those who are not. Let's fight this impulse and care for those who are weaker.
