Jesus told another story: "A very important man decided to throw a big party," said Jesus. "So he invited many, many friends. And when everything was ready, he sent his servant out to tell his friends it was time to come. But all his friends made excuses—they were too busy to come. When the servant returned and told the man that no one was coming, the man felt very sad.
"The man said to his servant, 'Go out to the streets and back alleys. I want you to look for poor people, blind people, people who are lame or crippled. Invite them all to my party!' The servant did as his master said, but still there was room for more guests at the party. 'Go again,' said the master. 'This time invite everyone who wasn't invited earlier. My house will be full of my new friends!'"
